Government
Khepri is devoted to creating a high standard of living for all people regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and political beliefs. It is built on the foundation of international cooperation and the advancement of science and technology. Khepri operates as a sovereign nation and does not answer to any foreign government. Khepri will remain neutral in all armed and political conflicts. All who wish to innovate, invent, and look to the future of human civilization will be welcomed and naturalized as citizens of Khepri. As a citizen of Khepri it is required that you follow the laws outlined in this constitution.
All the rights outlined in the US constitution will also apply to the citizens of Khepri, with the exception of the right to own a gun, and they have the added right to be transported off of Khepri at any given time, unless they have committed a crime and are serving time or being retained. While Khepri will not have a military, it will recruit a small number of armed men and women to maintain the peace and law that is necessary in a free state. There will be no draft. All forces of armed peacekeepers will be volunteers and put through an intensive training program in areas of non-violent communication, ethics, as well as physical training. Any outbreak of rebellion or insurrection is under the jurisdiction of the peacekeeping force. If the peacekeeping force feels more force is necessary, they maintain the right to request help from the United Nations or that of any free state.
Age rights
It is illegal to consume or purchase alcohol until the age of 21.
Citizens may vote at age 16.
Citizens may become a council member at age 21.
Crimes
Hindering scientific advancement.
Use of violence against any other members of Khepri.
Sexual assault, harassment, or pressuring.
Creating or possessing illegal substances.
Destruction of property public property.
Murder.
Destruction of information.
All of these crimes with the exception of murder have the punishment of eviction. The punishment for murder is the death penalty.
All citizens may forfeit their citizenship at anytime without question. Upon forfeiture said citizen will be immediately deported. All citizens have the right to a free trial and impartial jury. Those that are convicted of a felony while in Khepri will be deported immediately.
